Hey! Sorry i've not been updating anything. I've had lots of things to do at school and stuff so... but i'm going to start updatig and adding new pages soon! And my site banner has dissapeared for some reason... so I will put a new one up!

Also, I need some staff! I am the only person running this site at the moment and it is really hard! I need a news poster who can frequently update, because I can't!If you are interested, email me at percymum@yahoo.com or, if you don't get a reply in a day or so; treeckorules@yahoo.com!

Really important news everybody! Rick has updated his blog about everything that will be included in 'The Demigod Files'.

First of all, it has been announced that the three short stories will be; The Stolen Chariot, The Bronze Dragon and the new 50 paged story, that is being released in a different format in the UK; The Sword of Hades, which will include; Percy, Thalia and Nico as the main characters.

It has also been said that the book will include; A map of camp, a look inside Annabeth's camp chest and portraits of the main characters.

Also, another interesting part is the interviews page. With questions like; What is Grover's favourite song on the reed pipes? What does Annabeth really think of Percy? And what magic weapon would Percy trade for 'Riptide'.

Perhaps the most exciting news is this! The Demigod Files will include a sneak peek at Percy Jackson and the Olympians :: Book 5 :: The Last Olympian!

The Lightning Theif movie had been moved forward from the 2nd July 2010, to the 12th February 2010! This is in U.S.A only. As I live in the UK, I am still uncertain if it will hit the big screens of Manchester!

Our second bit of news is about the addition of several new pages to the website. The Short Stories page is our main priority. Other pages coming soon are; Demigod's and Monsters, The Lightning Theif Movie page, The Polls page and The Characters page. A forum could be added, but you will have to wait a little while for that.

Our first bit of news is that Rick had updated his blog with his 'Demigod of the Week'. He talks about all the teen girls who commented on the 'Texas Monthly Talks' interview.

And finally, I would like to apologise to all staff of MortalNet and all associated with the website. In the last post, I talked about a rivalry with MortalNet, that I just thought was a bit of friendly competition, although some people beg to differ. I am sorry to 'Christof' and all other staff.

Alot of things are going on at PercyMum. First of all, we have three new affiliates. You can view them in the Affiliates Sidebar. They are: Blue-Candy; which is ran by Jonathan, Michael, James and Mytton. The second one is called The HBC and it is a really cool website. The third is called Percy Jackson World and is ran by Miranda. I advise you to view all of the sites.

The second bit of news. Well, it isn't really news but i thought i would announce it. PercyMum (The most updated Percy Jackson fan site that has ever existed) is having a tiny little feud with MortalNet. They claim that they are the most updated Percy Jackson Fan Site, but I beg to differ! Post your suggestions about this in the shoutbox.

And finally, below this there is a poll (hopefully) for people to decide if I should do a Percy Jackson Podcast. I will have to get a new microphone, but that isn't much trouble. I

Hey, I have just heard that the Demigod Files WILL include the Sword of Hades. This is not totally official, but it is probably true. The other two stories are rumoured to be the 'Stolen Chariot' and the 'Bronze Dragon'. This dosen't affect me much, seen as I live in England. The Demigod Files and the other short stories will soon be having their own pages.

 And last of all, we have some new on the Sword of Hades. A basic outline of the plot has been released. Here it is-

The goddess Persephone has summoned Percy, Thalia and Nico to the Underworld in order to retrieve Hades' powerful sword before it falls into the wrong hands. Easier said than done in a world full of evil daemons, ghosts and ghouls. Not to mention Iapetos - brother of the powerful Titan lord, Kronos. This time the young demigods are really up against it - will Percy manage to return the sword before it's too late?

The first three videos have been added to the 'Percy Jackson Fan Videos' page. The videos include: 'Testing Magical Items' by Joan Phoenix, in which she test magical items from the Percy Jackson series. The second video is the sequal to 'Testing Magical Items', which is named; 'Testing Magical Items 2', which is also made by Joan Phoenix. And the final video was created by me (John) for bluetridentvideos. It was only a test, so it is a bit rubbish, but que sera sera. I am soon adding two more videos to bluetridentvideos and I will also try and get permission for more Percy Jackson Fan Videos.
